Consul General of Mexico in Los Angeles, Carlos Eugenio Garcia de Alba Zepeda, welcomed director Roberto Girault and producer/writer Gastón Pavlovich who presented to a full house, their iconic first movie “El Estudiante”, a screening followed by Q&A moderated by actress Vange Tapia and hosted by the CCCM and the Government of Guanajuato, México in Los Angeles as part of the “Year of Mexico in Los Angeles”
With a musical performance by an official “Estudiantina” and traditional dishes from the region of Guanajuato, the event was organized by Minister of Education and cultural affairs, Andrés Webster Henestrosa.
